These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the SkillTour website at https://demo.raoatech.ca/skilltour/ (the “Site”), operated by RaoaTech (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By visiting or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. Who we are

RaoaTech is a technology company based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. SkillTour is our education-focused WordPress theme and related website presentation. Contact: info@raoatech.ca.

2. The Site

The Site is a demonstration and information website for SkillTour. Content, courses, prices, and features shown on the demo may change without notice and may not match a production site.

The SkillTour WordPress theme, if you download it from WordPress.org, is licensed under the GNU General Public License. These Terms apply to this website, not to that software license.

3. Eligibility

You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Site only with a parent or guardian’s consent.

4. Accounts

If you create an account, you must provide accurate information and keep your login details confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or close an account that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe is being misused.

5. Courses and learning content

If the Site offers courses, lessons, or similar materials:

Listing a course does not guarantee enrollment, a certificate, a job, or a specific learning outcome.
Access may depend on login, enrollment, or a separate plugin (such as an LMS) that the site owner has installed.
We may update, pause, or remove courses at any time.
You may use course materials for your personal learning only, unless we say otherwise in writing. You may not copy, resell, share login access, or republish course content without permission.

6. Orders and payments

If paid courses or other products are offered, prices, taxes, and payment methods will be shown at checkout. Payment is processed by the provider configured on the Site (for example Stripe, PayPal, or bank transfer). Refunds follow the policy stated at purchase or in a separate refund notice. If no refund policy is stated, fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Break the law or these Terms
Interfere with the Site, other users, or our systems
Upload malware, scrape the Site in an abusive way, or attempt unauthorized access
Post content that is unlawful, harmful, infringing, or deceptive
Impersonate RaoaTech or another person
We may remove content or restrict access if we believe these rules have been broken.

8. Your content

Comments, reviews, profile information, or other material you submit remain yours. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, display, and store that material as needed to operate the Site. You confirm that you have the rights to submit it and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights.

9. Intellectual property

The Site design, SkillTour name, RaoaTech name, logos, and original text and graphics are owned by RaoaTech or its licensors, except where a third-party license applies (including GPL-licensed theme code). You may not use our names or marks without permission.

10. Third-party services

The Site may link to or use third-party services (for example payment gateways, video hosts, or plugins). Those services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party sites or services we do not control.

11. Privacy

How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy (publish a matching Privacy Policy page and link it here). Comment cookies and account data are handled as described there and in WordPress settings.

12. Disclaimer

The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. Educational content is for general learning only and is not professional, legal, medical, or financial advice.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, RaoaTech is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim related to the Site is limited to the amount you paid us for the relevant product in the 12 months before the claim, or CAD 50 if you paid nothing.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such a limit is not permitted.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change. Continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

15. Termination

You may stop using the Site at any time. We may suspend or stop access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Site.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in British Columbia have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer law gives you the right to sue in your home jurisdiction.
